Abstract:

The features of herpes simplex viral infections in children and adolescents are discussed. Epidemiological characteristics and various clinical manifestations of this infection in pediatric practice are described. Particular attention is given to grave conditions caused by the herpes simplex virus, which include eczema herpeticum and herpes-associated erythema multiforme.
