We report a thorough analysis of literature data proving the value of clinical and electrocardiographic characteristics of rhythm and conduction disturbances obtained by exercise stress tests. These results are essential for timely diagnosis of disease and choosing optimal treatment strategy. The text is supported with clinical examples from our own practice. Availability of necessary equipment (veloergometer, treadmill) and qualified specialists in many hospitals of the country make the exercise stress test an affordable examination method in modern conditions.
