98 patients with CHD and isolated lesion of right coronary artery (RCA) were included in the study. Depending on localization of lesions patients were divided into 2 groups: middle segment RCA stenting (56 patients) and ostial RCA stenting (42). Both groups were comparable by clinical characteristics. By way of the investigation immediate (angiographic success and amount of complications) and long-term (1 and 3 years) results of treatment (general survivability, angina relapse and myocardial infarction) were evaluated. Immediate angiographic success in the group of middle segment RCA stenting was achieved in 56 patients (100%), in the group of ostial RCA stenting - in 39 (92.9%) patients (p>0.05). In the first group 1-year survivability amounted 100%, 3-year survivability - 98.2%; relapse of angina and myocardial infarction during 1 and 3 years of observation were accordingly estimated in 2 (3.6%) and 3 (5.6%) patients, necessity of recurrent revascularization - in 1 (1.8%) patient. In the second group 1-year and 3-year survivability amounted 100%, relapse of angina and myocardial infarction during 1 and 3 years of observation were accordingly estimated in 1 (2.6%) and 3 (7.1%) patients, necessity of recurrent revascularization - in 3 (7.1%) patients. Comparison of long-term results in both groups didn't show any statistically significant differences. It is drawn a conclusion that immediate and long-term results (in terms up to 3 years) of ostial RCA stenting are comparable with results of middle segment RCA stenting.
