Abstract:

Goal. The problem of magnetic foreign bodies in the gastrointestinal tract in children exist important in type of the formation severe vital complications. Materials and methods. The cases (n=14) of staying of magnetic objects in the gastrointestinal tract in children were studied. Results. Found out that the emergence of a nonspecific clinical picture is due to a strong attraction of magnetic bodies through the walls various parts of the intestine. X-ray diagnostics confirm the presence of magnetic objects. The tactics of managing patients with the localization of magnetic bodies in various parts of the gastrointestinal tract were developed. Conclusion/ At suspition on intaking magnetic objects in children, radiation diagnosis is inevitable. The choice of emergency surgical care depends on the location of magnetic objects.
