Abstract:

The present paper is devoted to the topical problem of diagnostics of colorectal cancer in the framework of prophylactic medical examination. The secondary objective is to discuss the effectiveness of the treatment of the tumours thus detected. The authors demonstrate the importance of active observations and elaboration of the programs for monitoring specific groups of the general population. Special attention is given to the patients undergoing regular prophylactic medical examination including annual screening studies.
