Abstract:

This article describes the assessment of psychological status and quality of life in 41 patients with temporomandibular joint (TMJ) dysfunction as well as the importance of the disease for patients. The study revealed a number of personal characteristics and emotional problems in TMJ dysfunction patients, such as increased anxiety and low level of psychological stability.
