Abstract:

Vaginal microflora is a complex system responsible for maintaining the optimal pH of the vagina, resistance to the development of infectious and inflammatory diseases of the reproductive system. Maintaining of the normal vaginal microflora is an important condition for the prevention of pregnancy complications such as miscarriage, isthmic-cervical insufficiency as well as for improving the prognosis with their presence. The frequency of development of dysbiotic processes in the vagina of pregnant women is 40—65%. One of the most common diseases of this group is bacterial vaginosis. An obligatory stage of the treatment of cervical insufficiency associated with cervical insufficiency is the sanation of the lower genital tract, as well as the maintenance of normal microflora during the remaining gestational period. «Multi-Gyn ActiGel» presents particular interest in this context. The drug has an anti-adhesive effect, promotes the regeneration of mucous membranes, strengthens collagen fibers, and normalizes cellular metabolism. «Multi-Gyn ActiGel» is approved for use in all trimesters, is an effective and safe drug for the treatment of bacterial vaginosis during pregnancy.
