Abstract:

The given review of literature highlights the data of researches examining the impact of emergency surgery for acute gynecologic diseases on the reproductive health of women. In recent years, there has been an increasing interest by investigators in the efficiency of rehabilitation measures for women undergoing surgery on the pelvic organs. The previously proposed various methods for postoperative rehabilitation and schemes of management for patients after surgical interventions should be improved, by taking into account the development and introduction of up-to-date technologies for and new approaches (fast track surgery, one-day surgery) to the management of patients. The presence of pathogenetic determinants of reproductive health problems, which are common and specific to each disease, necessitate a search for an integrated approach to managing the patients after surgical treatment for acute gynecological diseases.
