Abstract:

The paper describes the authors’ case of pregnancy and delivery in a patient with Bloch-Sulzberger syndrome. Pregnancy took its course in the presence of chronic placental insufficiency, intrauterine growth restriction, and gestational diabetes mellitus. Cesarean section was carried out at 36 weeks’ gestation, by taking into account premature amniorrhea in pregnant women with a fetus in footling presentation in the absence of biological readiness for delivery. The baby was born with the manifestations typical of dermatosis with many skin bubbles with clear content without signs of septic inflammation; the further course showed positive changes. The authors declare no conflicts of interest.
