The concurrence of benign uterine diseases (endometrial hyperplasia, small uterine myomas, and adenomyosis) hampers the choice of organ-sparing treatment in different age groups of women. At the same time, hysterectomy in 40-to-50-year-old patients is bound to cause posthysterectomy syndrome. In these patients, the most pathogenetically sound use of gonadotropin-releasing hormone agonists, among which there is the most available drug (Russian Buserelin depot that causes endometrial atrophic processes), makes it possible to administer the agent in uterine endometriosis and myoma concurrent with endometrial hyperplasia and to reduce the number of organ-removing operations.
