Medical care using telemedicine technologies is a new part of the activities of national medical research centers. Obtaining feedback from the consulting medical organizations helps to improve the organization of telemedicine consultations.
PURPOSE OF THE STUDY
To assess the subjective and objective relevance of TMC in the therapy profile, performed by the Telemedicine Center of National Medical Research Center for Therapy and Preventive Medicine in 2019, as well as subjective satisfaction with the work of consultants and employees of the Center.
MATERIAL AND METHODS
We used a questionnaire (feedback form) developed by experts of the National Medical Research Center for Therapy and Preventive Medicine based on the methodology of A.V. Vladzimirovsky. The questionnaire contained 3 sections assessing the objective relevance of the TMC, the subjective relevance of the TMC, and the respondent’s satisfaction with the work of the Center.
RESULTS
1467 TMC were completed, in 43.9% of responders (a consulting medical organization) completed a questionnaire. In 84.2% of cases, the conducted TMCs were assessed as objectively relevant, in 94.7% — as subjectively relevant (full correspondence of the answers to the questions, supported by the presence of additional supporting information), which confirms the high quality of medical care using telemedicine technologies in the profile therapy. The relevance of the telemedicine system (Relsys) was equal to one, which indicates its high efficiency. The responders were satisfied with the work of the consultants and employees of the Telemedicine Center of National Medical Research Center for Therapy and Preventive Medicine in 84.3 and 84.9% of cases, respectively.
CONCLUSION
The data obtained indicate the need, demand and proper quality of TMC in the «therapy» profile at the National Medical Research Center for Therapy and Preventive Medicine.
