AIM OF STUDY

Evaluation of the structure of volume of mammographic studies application in the diagnosis of breast cancer, including in the framework of clinical examination of the adult population.

MATERIALS AND METHODS

According to the reports of medical organizations, the dynamics of provision of preventive medical care to adult population of St. Petersburg in the period from 2013 to 2018 is analyzed.

RESULTS AND CONCLUSIONS

During the last 5 years there has been a three-fold increase in the number of people undergoing medical examination. In 2018, the volume of preventive mammograms amounted to 7,441.4 per 100 thousand adult female population, which is 2 times less than the volume of other outpatient mammograms. This indicates a low commitment of women to control their health and requires the development of additional methods for attracting the population to medical organizations providing primary health care for medical examination
