Currently, the importance and effectiveness of regular physical activity for the health of older people has been established from the perspective of evidence-based medicine. Since 2018, a pilot project «Aktivnoye Dolgoletie» (Active Longevity) has been implemented in Moscow. Aim: to analyze and assess the dynamics of the incidence of low physical activity (LPhA), excess body weight (BW) and obesity detected in Muscovites 60 years and older according to the clinical examination of certain groups of the adult population of Russia from 2015 to 2018. Materials and methods. Analysis includes the generalized results of the clinical examination 2015—2018. Moscow residents aged 60 and over. Results. In Moscow, the frequency of LPhA in both men and women over 60 years old who underwent medical examination is significantly higher than the frequency recorded in general in the Russian Federation. Analysis and assessment of the dynamics of the frequency of LPhA in 2015—2018 did not register significant changes in the whole of the Russian Federation. In residents of Moscow aged 60 and over from 2015 to 2017 we noted statistically significant increase in the frequency of LPhA, and from 2017, a marked decrease was observed. BW indices did not change, but in men in Moscow, it continued to increase. A decrease in BW was found only in 2018 in women in Moscow Conclusion. Obtained data on gender, age-related features and dynamics of parameters of such important risk factors of noncommunicable diseases as LPhA and excess BW in the elderly may be used in forming priorities both at the regional level and in primary health care institutions to improve the technology of preventive counseling.
