Abstract:

This paper presents the results of analyzing the physical fitness of 5—7-year-old children in a city with high chemical air pollution. The study has shown that the physical fitness of 5—7-year-old boys is related to the environmental conditions of their territories of residence. The study has revealed the decreased velocity ability of lower extremity muscle groups during the 30 m running test in 5-year-old boys living under the conditions of more pronounced chemical pollution of the environment.
