BACKGROUND

Cancer of the uterine body ranks third in frequency (8.2%) in women after malignant tumors of the breast (22.4%) and skin, excluding melanoma (14.6%) [1]. According to the current Clinical Guidelines of the Ministry of Health of the Russian Federation “Cancer of the uterine body and uterine sarcoma”, hormonal treatment with preservation of fertility is recommended for young patients with initial (non-invasive) well-differentiated cancer of the uterine body [2]. However, if a patient becomes pregnant, either spontaneously or after ART, there are no special recommendations for the management of pregnancy and childbirth, and there are no data on predictions regarding obstetric outcomes in the domestic scientific literature.

OBJECTIVE

To study the live birth rate in patients after conservative treatment of atypical hyperplasia and initial endometrial cancer.

MATERIAL AND METHODS

The study included 114 patients with spontaneous (group 1) and induced (group 2) pregnancies following conservative treatment of atypical hyperplasia and initial endometrial cancer.

RESULTS

The study included 114 patients with spontaneous and induced pregnancy that occurred after conservative treatment of atypical hyperplasia and initial endometrial cancer. The total live birth rate in both groups was 77.2% (88/114): 75.7% (53/70) in group 1, 79.5% (35/44) in group 2.

CONCLUSION

Our study showed a high rate of live birth in patients with spontaneous and induced pregnancy after conservative treatment of atypical hyperplasia and initial endometrial cancer.
