Day 4 human embryos at the morula stage were successfully biopsied for the first time in 2010. In this study we analyze data on birth delivery, and the 107 child’s health status after PGS with compact morula stage biopsy. We compared several birth parameters, namely, gestational length and birth height and weight, 5-minute Apgar score, between the ICSI and ICSI/PGS groups. There were no significant differences in these parameters between groups. To conclude, biopsy of morula-stage embryos poses no risks to the health of new-borns.
