Objective. To investigate the clinical efficacy of ulipristal acetate at a dose of 5mg (esmya) in patients with uterine myoma. Material and methods. Conducted the examination and treatment of 48 women with uterine fibroids of different localization at the age from 32 to 50 years. In the majority of cases (46 patients) uterine fibroids was multiple, the average number of myomatous nodes was 4.6±1.2, the average tumor size was 142 CC. All patients needed surgical treatment. All women with the goal of preoperative treatment was prescribed ulipristal acetate (esmya) in a daily dose of 5 mg, one tablet once a day for three months with 2 days of menstrual bleeding.  Results. In 3 months after taking the WA marked by amenorrhea, reduction in pain, restoration of blood red. The esmya helps to reduce the volume of the uterus and myomatous nodules in 33%, which allowed to perform more endoscopic surgery. The good tolerability WA. Conclusion. Ulipristal acetate is not only effective but safe drug for the treatment of uterine fibroids.
