Abstract:

The importance of the problem of diagnosis and treatment of ovarian benign tumors and tumor-like formations in children and young women is presented. The prevalence, diversity and multiplicity of causal factors, the variability of clinical parameters, the complexities of identifying the disease are discussed. The classification and the main criteria for the differential diagnosis of benign tumors and tumor-like formations of ovaries are described. The role of different methods in the complex therapeutic measures used in ovarian tumors is discussed.
