Abstract:

A review concerning the strategy of elective single embryo transfer (eSET) in IVF-programs is presented. The classification of eSET options is presented. The existing barriers of the eSET strategy implementation and possible rational ways of their overcoming are discussed. The model of shared decision-making in favor of selective transfer of one embryo is presented taking into account the clinical-anamnestic data of infertile couple.
