The paper shows the development of a predictive model for the treatment of patients with colorectal liver metastases (CLM), by using the artificial neural network (ANN), which will be able to estimate survival rates and the efficiency of various therapeutic approaches, and compares its accuracy with that of logistic regression (LR). The ANN model versus the LR one has a higher accuracy (97.3% vs. 88.9%). ANN is a more precise than LR in predicting the survival of patients with CLM. Since the model takes into account possible treatment options, it is recommended for the determination of prognosis and a treatment regimen.
