Abstract:

Twenty-one patients with prostate cancer and bone metastases received intravenous infusions of resorba 4 mg monthly for 6 months. Within the first 6 months, no new bone metastases appeared in all the patients. Regression of PSA levels was noted in 15 (71.5%) patients. At the end of treatment, significant pain syndrome was absent in all the patients. No treatment-induced complications requiring resorba to be discontinued were found.
