In modern conditions, the introduction of new technologies in the healthcare system requires the improvement of diagnostic and therapeutic measures by modifying the organizational structures of medical organizations, improving the qualifications of medical workers, and effective patient routing. In each region, based on the level of funding and equipment of medical organizations, the geographical features of the territories and other factors, measures should be implemented to ensure high availability and quality of medical care. The laboratory service needs the constant introduction of new research methods and approaches to improve work efficiency. To date, a number of measures have been taken in Bashkortostan to centralize research, ensure its quality, and equip laboratories with highly efficient equipment. At the same time, during the modernization of the laboratory service, it became clear that activities within its framework should be differentiated depending on a number of significant factors.
OBJECTIVE
To evaluate the effectiveness of the introduction of a three-level model for the organization of laboratory services on the example of the Republic of Bashkortostan.
MATERIAL AND METHODS
The study is based on an analysis of the performance indicators of the laboratory service of the Republic of Bashkortostan for the period from 2020 to 2023. The analysis includes an assessment of regulations in the field of healthcare and laboratory services, federal statistical observations, reports from medical organizations and information on official websites. Statistical data processing was carried out using the Microsoft Office 2010.
RESULTS
The introduction of a three-level model of laboratory support for the medical service in the Republic of Bashkortostan took place in stages, based on the concept of geographical proximity. This approach included the preservation of traditional clinical diagnostic laboratories as level 1 facilities and the creation of centralized laboratories of the 2nd and 3rd levels in intermunicipal medical organizations
CONCLUSIONS
During the restructuring of the laboratory service, a number of organizational features have been identified that are important for providing affordable and high-quality medical care to the population. The introduction of a three-level model of laboratory service contributes to the achievement of the main goal of providing prompt and equally accessible medical care throughout the country.
