Clinical observations of anhidrotic ectodermal dysplasia in 18-year-old man S. and 7-year-old boy K. are presented. According to literature data, abortive manifestations of anhidrotic ectodermal dysplasia syndrome can occur in women with mutant gene. The boy’s mom suffered from palmar-plantar keratoderma, impaired tooth development and moderate xerosis. Cases of hidrotic ectodermal dysplasia in 58-year-old women A. and 54-year-old male M. are also presented in the article. We noted some features in manifestation of genodermatosis in these cases. Man M. aged 54 years has moderate hyperhidrosis of the soles. Woman A. (has a healthy son) had no hair at all from birth, impaired eyesight, normal hearing and mental state. Similar symptoms were noted in her mother and sister. Thus, hidrotic ectodermal dysplasia manifests itself along the female line. So, the patient’s son is healthy that raises a question about the heredity of hidrotic ectodermal dysplasia.
