Abstract:

Dermatoscopic characteristics of the superficial and tumour-like forms of cutaneous basal cell carcinoma were analysed in 10 patients presenting with tumour-like and in 31 ones with superficial forms of the disease. Three variants of the images of the superficial form of cutaneous basal cell carcinoma have been obtained differing in terms of the number of zones, intensity of their colour, the structure of outer and inner zones. It was found that the dermatoscopic picture of the superficial form of cutaneous basal cell carcinoma varies with the growth of the tumour (up to 10 mm and more). At the same time, the dermatoscopic picture of the tumour-like form of the neoplasm varies with its duration (6 months, 1 year and more).
