Резюме

Знания в области транфузионной терапии, существовавшие в медицине к началу Первой мировой войны, сформировали базу клинической трансфузиологии в XIX веке и были дополнены в первые годы XX века — учением об иммунологических характеристиках групп крови. Военные события обусловили суровую необходимость и предоставили огромную возможность для широкого внедрения и дополнительного совершенствования ранее осуществленных открытий. Основными достижениями военных хирургов в 1914—1918 гг. стало создание первых банков крови и специализированных отделений реанимации, приспособленных для переливания крови.
