This lecture is devoted to the selected sections of phlebology and contains information about the modern non-standard methods for the treatment of various chronic venous diseases of the lower extremities. It includes the data on the curative potential of vein-preserving surgeries, the non-thermal non-tumescent methods for the treatment of varicose veins of the lower extremities, resection and embolization techniques used to manage varicose pelvic disease, reconstructive operations for the treatment of the post-thrombotic disease. The analysis of the effectiveness of the application of the above-mentioned interventions and the prospects for their further use were carried out.
