Abstract:

Presented a clinical case of successful treatment of a patient with Bouveret syndrome, a duodenal obstruction with large bile calculus. A feature of the observation was the significant size of the calculus and cholecystic-duodenal fistula, as well as the long term conservative treatment with attempts at endoscopic extraction of the calculus. The epidemiology, diagnosis and treatment outcomes of Bouveret syndrome were studied.
