Objective. Evaluation of treatment results for patients with Zenker diverticulum using flexible endoscopy. Material and methods. 31 patients with Zenker diverticulum (15 men; 16 women) aged 36 to 83 years were operated on for the period from 2016 to 2018. Endoscopic diverticulotomy was performed in all cases: in 28 patients using a flexible diverticuloscope, in 3 patients using a cap for dissection. Results. The time duration of surgery ranged from 30 to 90 minutes (an average of 54 minutes). The effectiveness of this endoscopic treatment method was monitored in 29 (93.5%) patients with Zenker diverticulum for more than 6 months. 27 (93.1%) patients returned to normal full oral nutrition and they were satisfied with the results of endoscopic surgery. Violations of the passage of contrast medium through the esophagus were not detected. There were no complications when carrying out the instrument into the stomach. Relapse occurred in 2 (6.9%) cases 1 year after the intervention, which required a second intervention. In these cases, intra— and postoperative complications did not arise. Conclusion. Endoscopic Management of Zenker Diverticulum lead to the restoration esophageal patency, normalize a full enteral nutrition. There are characterized by low injury, the absence of cosmetic defects, a low frequency of complications and repeated operations.
