Purpose. To analyze the clinical results of endoscopic percutaneous gastrostomy. Material and methods. Endoscopic percutaneous gastrostomy was performed in 106 patients. The majority of patients were patients with brain pathology, impaired consciousness and swallowing act. In most patients, the intervention was performed in the course of an acute period of the underlying disease. Results. Preliminary expansion of the esophagus lumen was required in 6 patients. In all the cases the installation process was normal and smooth. Later in 7 patients the postoperative period became complicated. Repeated interventions for complications were required for 2 patients. Conclusion. Endoscopic percutaneous gastrostomy is the method of choice for providing enteral nutrition because of its low traumatic, safety, effectiveness, relative simplicity of implementation, and a low level of complications.
