Abstract:

Recent years are marked by active implementation of new methods of multispiral computed tomography (MSCT), among them virtual colonoscopy (VCS). Article represents up-to-date technical requirements to VCS, issues of images interpretation, preparation of colon for the examination, technique of procedure itself. In conclusion indications and contraindications for VCS are demonstrated.
