The expert’s conclusion is actually the main evidence in civil and criminal cases related to an unfavorable outcome of disease or medical care. The absence of a unified conceptual apparatus leads to subjective conclusions and different assessments of similar clinical situations that does not correspond to the principles of justice. To solve this problem, the authors propose uniform basic concepts in expert assessment of unfavorable outcomes of disease and intensive care.
