To enhance the efficiency of treatment in sexually active women of reproductive age with cytomegalovirus infection (CMVI), the investigators examined 130 patients with small pelvic inflammatory diseases caused by pathogenic and opportunistic microorganisms and reactivated CMVI. Combination therapy in patients with small pelvic inflammatory diseases caused by pathogenic, opportunistic microorganisms and CMVI and that using antibiotics, metronidazole, and the antiviral drug panavir in combination with intravaginal low-level laser radiation in patients with reactivated CMVI in the small pelvic organs proved to be effective in 84.61% of cases.
