Dental health cannot be considered in isolation from general health. Oral health is associated with the physical, mental and social well-being of people. The most common pathology of the oral cavity in the elderly and senile people is the age-related loss of natural teeth. This pathology in Russia, especially among people of older age groups, remains an urgent medical and social problem, which should be addressed in the context of medical, social and economic aspects. In Russia, as in developed foreign countries, there are many people with complete loss of teeth on both jaws, especially in the elderly and senile, respectively, 10% and 20%. The work presents the materials of a symposium with international participation “Modern aspects of dental rehabilitation of patients with complete loss of teeth”, which was held on September 24, 2019 in Moscow (Russia) with the support of the pharmaceutical company GlaxoSmithKline Helsker, as well as recommendations developed by the author on safe use by adults patients with adhesive products, as well as products for the care of removable dentures as part of individual care for dentures, organs and tissues of the oral cavity. It is noted that in the real conditions of everyday life, it is advisable for doctors working with elderly people to know the features of using adhesive means for fixing dentures, including for people suffering from somatic diseases and hyposia, as well as modern means for cleaning and storing removable dentures
