The paper presents the results of two prophylactic educative actions "What blood pressure do I have" and "Normal blood pressure is the healthy heart and vessels" made in the Ashan supermarkets. The main tasks of the actions were to call the population's attention to the problem of hypertension, to enhance medical activity and prophylactic examination. Most examinees were found to have cardiovascular risk factors: hypertension, high body mass index, increased waist circumference, and smoking. This situation requires a more intensive prophylactic work. The WHO World Days are a good ground for organizing mass prophylactic actions and covering a larger number of people.
