Objective - to study the informative value of analyzing the cytokine gene network structure as a sign affecting the human health status and life span. Subjects and methods. 995 Europeoids, including healthy individuals (n=215) and patients with social diseases of varying etiology (rheumatoid arthritis, type 2 diabetes mellitus, osteoporosis, breast cancer) living in West Siberia, were examined. Single nucleotide polymorphism (SNP) in the promoter region of the genes TNF-A863C, TNF-A308G, TNF-A238G, IL1B C-31T, IL1B-C511T, IL4-C590T, IL6-C174G, IL10A-1082G, IL10-А592C, the matrix metalloproteases MMP2-С1306T, MMP9-С1562T, and the vascular endothelial growth factors VEGF-А2578С, VEGF+Т936С was studied by restrictive fragment length polymorphism (RFLP) analysis of amplification products. Results. Variants of the cytokine gene networks highly associated with human life expectancy (OR=47.9-72.8; p<0.02) were revealed. Sex-linked (p<0.01), structural network variants associated with both individual and whole groups of the diseases in question were identified. Conclusion. The high specificity of the found structural features of a set of cytokine network genes enables these signs to be used as personified biological markers for people identification to implement preventive measures reducing the risk of the diseases.
