Abstract:

Labial fusion is a complete or partial fusion of the genital fissure due to agglutination of the labia minora along the midline. The etiology has not yet been precisely determined, but the authors believe that their occurrence is associated with hypoestrogenia in combination with irritation of the vulva. We describe a rare case of labial fusion in puberty in a 16-year-old patient.
