Abstract:

The article presents a review of the literature on the consequences of artificial termination of pregnancy, the possibilities of contraception during rehabilitation period of the woman's reproductive system using combined oral contraceptives. The issues of the impact of the pandemic of a new coronavirus infection on pregnancy planning, the difficulties of obtaining medical care in the context of a sharp restriction of medical procedures are highlighted. The authors analyze the additional effect of folates, which are part of a combined oral contraceptive with ethinyl estradiol and drospirenone, on the body, in addition to its well-known function of preventing congenital malformations.
