Abstract:

Objective: to analyze the reproductive health of couples with infertility with and without undifferentiated connective tissue dysplasia. Material and methods. A total of 109 married couples with infertility duration from 1 to 20 years are included in the clinical study. They were divided into 2 groups: the first group comprises 75 (68.8%) couples with a female factor of infertility and the presence of undifferentiated connective tissue dysplasia; Group 2 consisted of 34 (31.2%) married couples with a female factor of infertility without signs of undifferentiated connective tissue dysplasia. Results. It was revealed that each woman with infertility and undifferentiated connective tissue dysplasia had 3.9 somatic diseases, that is 1.4 times higher than in patients with infertility without signs of undifferentiated connective tissue dysplasia. Each man with undifferentiated connective tissue dysplasia had 2.1 somatic pathologies, whereas men without undifferentiated connective tissue dysplasia had only 1 desease. Conclusions. Women with infertility and undifferentiated connective tissue dysplasia have higher frequency of various chronic somatic pathologies. Chronic somatic diseases prevail in men with undifferentiated connective tissue dysplasia. A correlation between the degree of undifferentiated connective tissue dysplasia and the concentration of magnesium and zinc in the blood serum was established.
