Objective. To make comprehensive analysis of the results of morphological and cytogenetic studies of the products of conception non-developing pregnancy to determine the etiology of the death of the fetus. Material and methods. To identifying of causative factors of fetal death the complex morphological and cytogenetic study of 116 samples of non-developing pregnancy of 4-11,5 (7,5±1,8) gestational weeks was made. Results. The chromosomal abnormalities in 54% of fetal karyotype were found. The complete absence of chorion vascularity more often was caused by a chromosomal abnormality (р=0,05; OR=2,72; 95% CL: 1-7,36). Decreased chorion vascularity was detected in 87% of cases where 54% were associated with abnormal fetuses and 33% with normal fetuses. Conclusion. Comprehensive analysis of cytogenetic and morphological results of showed that 93% of non-developing pregnancy was determineв by abnormal fetoplacental circulation and/or chromosomal disorders.
