Abstract:

The paper describes a rare clinical case of a 64-year-old patient with metastatic prostate cancer during antiandrogen therapy, which is concurrent with decomposing gastric melanoma prone to recurrent bleeding, requiring urgent surgical treatment as gastrectomy. Taking into account the thrombotic complications of the tumor process, the first step is to implant a temporary CAVA filter. Histological examination has confirmed gastric melanoma without a primary source found on the body, with regional lymph node damages and peritoneal metastasis in the omental bursa.
