Abstract:

The authors discussed the results reported by Seryapina Yu.V. et al. in their article «Incidence of proximal femur fractures in patients aged 60 years and older in the Russian Federation» (Medical technologies. Evaluation and selection 2020;(2):59-66). Epidemiology of proximal hip fractures reported in previous studies conducted in the Russian Federation and data obtained by Seryapina Yu.V. et al. are analyzed.
