Abstract:

The article covers the issues of epidemiology, pathogenesis, and clinical polymorphism of CMV infection. Considerable attention is paid to modern methods of clinical and laboratory diagnostics and their practical interpretation. We proposed an algorithm to manage the patients with CMV infection. The data on the clinical efficacy and safety of the Russian immunomodulator Solanum Tuberosum (Panavir) in secondary prevention of relapses in high-risk groups were reported.
