Abstract:

Rheumatic mitral stenosis is one of the most common heart diseases. A 53-year-old patient admitted with severe mitral stenosis and heart failure NYHA class IV. The patient underwent mitral valve replacement with mechanical prosthesis and tricuspid valve repair. Postoperative period was uneventful. The patient was discharged after 8 postoperative days without any complication.
