It was done the comparative ultrasound evaluation (2543 echocardiographic studies) of normally functioning prostheses MIX (n=122), MedEng-2 (n=67) and biological valves KemKor and PeriCor in the mitral position in dynamic for 10 years. Effective orifice area (EOA) of bioprosthesis was stable for all period of observation. It was about 2.05-2.85 cm2 in case of prostheses diameter 28 and 30 mm, in case of diameter 32 mm - 2.05-2.59 см2. In case of mechanical prostheses MIX and MedEng-2 EOA decreased significantly for the first five years after operation. The average transprosthetic pressure gradient and the average transprosthetic blood flow velocity in studied groups did not depend on the diameter of the prosthesis. Disc prostheses MIX function fully only in the range of physiological heart rates, that's why recipients MIX needs in constant strict monitoring of heart rate and it's correction if necessary. It was determined that the biological prostheses KemKor and PeriCor demonstrate the optimal hemodynamic profile.
