Abstract:

Herein we described the case of complex treatment of a patient with May—Thurner syndrome complicated by acute iliofemoral thrombosis. The first stage was a successful catheter-directed thrombolysis. A follow-up examination revealed stenosis of the common iliac vein that required stenting. As a result, complete patency of iliac veins followed by regression of clinical symptoms was achieved. Favorable clinical outcome and patent venous segment were observed in long-term period.
