Ureteral stricture is a rare complication of endourological ureteral interventions because of ureteral wall trauma. Postoperative rehabilitation of such patients is a challenge, since repeated interventions, reconstructive operations, using not only local tissues, but also various gastrointestinal tract segments, and kidney autotransplantation are often required. The case of this article is about an effective elimination of an extended upper third ureteral stricture due to ureteral trauma during ureterolithoextraction and follow-up unsuccessful attempt of reconstructive surgery. The patient has a long-term intraureteral stent. In 2 months, follow-up examination showed the patient satisfaction, undisturbed urine passage from the kidney and well stent toleration.
