Abstract:

There is a federal law No. 193-FZ dated 07/27/2010 “On an alternative dispute resolution procedure with participation of a mediator (mediation procedure)” in the Russian Federation. This law quite fully regulates activities of mediators, but contains certain conflicts and gaps in regulation of these activities in healthcare. There is a need for a wider introduction of mediation agreements for resolving conflicts between all participants in healthcare including criminal cases.
