Abstract:

The article is devoted to the 85^th anniversary of the birth of the famous morphologist, Doctor of Medical Sciences, Professor Anatoly Andreevich Babanin. The life path of Professor A.A. Babanin is inextricably linked to the history of the V.I. Vernadsky Crimean Federal University, in the walls of which he passed all stages from the student bench to the rectorship. Significant part of the effort was devoted to scientific research, which resulted in successfully defended by the author theses, as well as the creation of a school of experimental morphology in the aspect of forensic medical examination. Scientific achievements of Professor A.A. Babanin and his contribution to the development of medical education have been honoured with numerous government and international awards. Currently, Professor A.A. Babanin is successfully continuing his work activity as an advisor to the rector of the V.I. Vernadsky Crimean Federal University on medical education and science.
