The course of pregnancy and labor was analyzed in 11 women with congenital hypothyroidism, who were found to have a great deal of complications of pregnancy, labor, and a perinatal period. The management of pregnancy and labor in this category of patients necessitates the timely and adequate treatment of the underlying disease, prediction, early detection, and correction of the most common evolving complications.
