Development of periodontal disease is directly dependent on the amount of plaque and total microbial contamination of oral cavity and inversely related to the effectiveness of hygienic measures. The aim of our study was to examine the effectiveness of the application of toothpaste Innova Sensitive «Intensive rehabilitation of enamel». Clinical studies were conducted as follows (before and after studies): medical history, instrumental examination of oral cavity hygiene parodontologičeskie indexes, as well as studies of immune status: a study of α-amylase. Our study of the application of toothpaste Innova Sensitive «Intensive rehabilitation of enamel» indicative of improving hygienic indexes, reducing microbial contamination of oral cavity, thereby improving the prediction of inflammatory and destructive processes in the periodontium, carious lesions.
